The year 2026 has felt like a journey of unexpected transitions. What began as a hopeful step into the promised land — a new season of work, responsibility, and growth — gradually unfolded into something quieter and more reflective. The excitement of arrival slowly gave way to the realization that even promised lands come with challenges that test patience, resilience, and faith.

After stepping away from environments that were draining and difficult, I entered a period of rest and recovery. Like a traveler finally pausing after a long journey, this season allowed space for reflection and healing. The noise settled, and clarity began to emerge.

🐛 The Promised Land Theme

Now, it feels as though I have entered Stage 3 of the cocoon — Observation and Insight. This stage is not about rushing forward, but about watching carefully, learning from past experiences, and understanding the kind of path that leads to genuine growth. Scripture reminds us of the wisdom found in reflection:
“The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.”
— Proverbs 14:15
Perhaps this is the quiet work of transformation. The cocoon may appear still from the outside, but inside, something new is forming. And with time, insight will become direction, and direction will lead to flight.
